We want to encourage our students to work for sustainable development, democracy and peace, like Wangari Maathai did.

The school’s official naming ceremony was celebrated on 22 March 2019. Parents of our school collected suggestions for names and decided on "Wangari Maathai International School". We are very proud to represent Wangari Maathai and her legacy.
